Cupcakes!

I've been slacking on this blog so badly! I have been working more and trying to squeeze in as much time as I can with Derek and Owen. So, without further ado... here's some cupcake fun!

My friend Morgan gave birth to her second beautiful baby girl on March 13th. Her favorite cupcake is from Indulge Cupcakes, the Red Velvet cupcake! So, before we went to visit her in the hospital Owen and I took a trip to Indulge to pick one up for her. I was excited to go and had been hearing about it from her and our friend Christy, who raves about it. When we got there it was so cute and comfy. Lots of cozy couches and awesome decor. Owen's eyes went straight to the cupcakes of course and we didn't get to leave without grabbing him one too. The girl working was just great with him. She added a little dinosaur on top, wrapped it up and he was so happy!

Ice Skating!

We went ice skating today at Sprinker. We tried to get Owen pumped up for this so that he'll be a good little skater one day. His little skates were so cute! Just like his little bowling shoes... all those dorky shoes look super cute when they're tiny haha! He started out rough, and didn't want much to do with skating until he got better... then it was hard to get him off the ice! Anyways, here are some photos from our afternoon!

Bowling!

On Sunday we decided to have a family fun day. We had zero plans and a whole day ahead of us. We had thought of taking Owen to a bounce house place, but none were open. Then we thought about ice skating or roller skating, but both were smack in the middle of Owen's nap. So, we decided to go bowling. I was kinda worried that Owen wouldn't get the concept of the game and taking turns, but he had so much fun! He waited for his turn like a big boy and was so excited to bowl. I got him a little 6 pound ball that was bright orange and he sure knew which one was his! Check out these shoes!!!!

After our games were done we headed to the arcade in the bowling alley and Owen HAD to go on this ride!

We decided to make Sunday's our family fun day and do something like this each week. We enjoyed ourselves so much! We all came home and took naps (which is unlike Derek or I to do!)
